Nice to meet ya!
Hey friends!
Thank you for hanging out on our website! It is so nice to virtually meet you! So please, allow us to introduce ourselves. My name is Marigrace and I am a mental health advocate. I have struggled with Anxiety, Depression, and OCD since I was about 11 years old.
I have had many many rough patches with my mental health and I felt like such a freak. I didn't feel like I belonged anywhere. I hated my thoughts and hated myself. I went to therapy since I was 11 and I fell in love with it. It made a dramatic difference in my mental health. I started wondering if there are other people out there that deal/have dealt with the issues I have. I know how absolutely alone it can make you feel. I know so many people do not feel comfortable speaking up about their mental health issues. So many more people deal with mental health issues than you would ever expect. I wanted to create this brand to help us all love our brains and not include our illness as a personality trait or definition of who we are. I am certainly NOT my anxiety. However, my anxiety has shaped a lot of my life. I am just so glad that I get to hopefully help others to raise their voices and share their experiences with their illness. Most importantly, no one should ever feel they are alone and chained to their own brain and thoughts. It is so dark and lonely. But guess what?! You are on our site for a reason. You are NOT alone.
I started this amazing business with the help of my boyfriend. My boyfriend's name is Vince! We have been dating for four years. He has seen me at my absolute worst with my anxiety and OCD. He has never given up on me and been so patient trying to understand and empower me to view myself as ME and not my mental health status. He has been such a strong support for me and I could not be more blessed. He wanted to raise awareness about mental health just as much as I did.
As I develop and grow this brand, we want to be able to donate a portion of our profits to mental health charities. We want to create a MOVEMENT. I hope you will support and join us on this journey. We can't wait to band together and change the STIGMA around mental health.
So...I think it is time that you fall back in love with your beautiful brain. What do you say?!
