Panic Attacks and Getting Help at School

Posted by Marigrace Pilger on

Hello mental health champions, how are you doing?  Today I want to talk to parents and teen students. I want to talk about your options for getting help at school when it comes to mental health. Most schools have some support systems lined up for students in need. I am specifically going to be talking about Panic Attacks and what I did when I was experiencing them in High School. My PTSD Story

Posted by Marigrace Pilger on

Hello mental health champions, how are you doing?  Today I want to talk more about PTSD. It is hard to believe that it has been about 5-6 months since I was diagnosed with PTSD! Hello mental health champions, how are you doing?  Today I want to talk about some advice on launching a business. I know that being entrepreneurial isn’t in everyone’s chemical makeup but it sure was in mine! I have always wanted to be entrepreneurial and there are so many people on Tik-Tok and other apps that absolutely glamourize having an actual, functioning business. I totally thought opening a business was going to be all sunshine and butterflies, but that isn’t necessarily the case.  I wanted to just go over some advice I would give to someone looking to start their own...

Physical OCD Compulsions

Posted by Marigrace Pilger on

Hello mental health champions, how are you doing?  Today I wanted to jump a little bit deeper into OCD and repetitive behaviors. Something that I struggle with that can sometimes go unnoticed by myself is these repetitive behaviors. I have always seemed to have mental rituals instead of physical rituals. When people think of OCD, they frequently think of turning the light on and off a million times or excessive cleanliness and organization. However, I have mostly struggled with mental rituals, or at least I had thought. I let my physical compulsions go unnoticed since they became such a normal...
